In short

Mart van Dijk Tree Nurseries BV was founded in 1974 by Chris van Dijk, Wiel van Dijk, and Hay Hendrix. In the summer of 2002, the company was taken over by Hans de Swart, who was already working within the company at that time.

The progressive, flexible approach used by the founders is still continued in the same way. The nursery now covers over 35 hectares of open-ground cultivation and 12 hectares of container plants. Together with about 25 permanent employees and 25 seasonal workers, we are daily engaged in growing healthy, high-quality plants.

Quality, punctuality, and flexibility are characteristics for which we are highly regarded by our customers. From Swolgen in North Limburg, we supply all of Europe with, among others:

  • Solitary plants, both in pots and from open ground
  • Shrubs, twice transplanted from open ground
  • Roses from well-known propagators Kordes, Tantau, and Meilland
  • A complete package of nursery products, mostly from our own nursery
  • Hedge plants, both in pots and from open ground
  • Ready-made hedges, both in planting bags and from open ground
  • In short; a complete package of nursery products
